Jesus. He sure knows how to tell a story that's thoroughly unfunny, frequently confusing, and just achingly slow to unfold. I just don't even understand who this shit is aimed at. I know it's a fap comic; you know it's a fap comic; hell, I think even HE - deep down - knows it's a fap comic.

But then you see page, after page, after PAGE of just mindless drivel before it gets to the actual sauce. And what's the fucking point of that? To torture the audience? Who enjoys this? And if you really do claim to, what about these wooden, trope-infested characters, stretched out plots, and literally dozens of consecutive needless, action-less panels do you enjoy?

I don't understand why everyone is so angry. You are given FREE access to a quality product, if it pisses you off that this author always has long preludes, wait a couple of months for the comic to come out and then downvote. However, most (with rare exceptions) of his completed works receive grades of at least 4.5, which means he does everything right.

If you have these great issues with Kipteitei's work, why not just... not look at it? Clearly other people enjoy the art and even the build up. If you don't, there is plenty of other content you can go to. You seem to have laid it out as you having both a personal and moral issue with Kip and his work, yet you still clicked on an image set clearly labelled as being his. Like, what did you expect? Why bother?

For those wondering why there are low scores and hate comments for the author's work despite the art quality, essentially when you take Nigga Moments: noun - "Perpetual "conflicts" between niggas over trivial or ignorant things." and add Nigga Synthesis: noun - "Perpetual "bond" between niggas over trivial or ignorant things." you get a complete fucking disaster. Remember this equation, you'll need it later. Nigga Moments + Nigga Synthesis = Complete Disaster.

It started off with a bunch of people asking questions about the author's projects and genuinely providing constructive criticism which slowly devolved into an attempt to override the author due to disgruntled entitled individuals not getting their desired outcome within said works, Since the author doesn't work in PR but essentially is a smut writer, his response to people's whining and barking was not sugar coated/ filtered which lead to people getting ignored/ banned.

Those given a harsh reality check and put in their place by the author began bonding with like-minded people over their mutual butthurt and began seeking out the author's works to downvoting anything and everything related to it and/or questioning their motives while upvoting their own remarks regardless of how petty they are.

Essentially, this creates a perpetual cycle where the author chooses not to improve and doesn't properly receive constructive criticism due to the blind hate and the entitled mob hating the works because they don't deliver the needed ointment for their butthurt.

You CAN choose where you decide to drink from if it's weight gain content you want. There are plenty other creators that do the exact thing that you're asking for. (Better-With-Salt, Axel-Rosered, Anastimafilia and pixiveo. they don't make comics often, but their stuff's still pretty damn good.)
I've gone literal YEARS without looking at Kip's art regularly, because much like the rest of you, I don't particularly care for it. But if the guy's not gonna take your criticism, then what's the point in being perpetually hateful towards him?

Here, you want a good comic that SORT OF tells a story but also gets right into it? Check out 'Ayano's Weight Gain Journal' (and other comics by the same artist while you're at it.) It's long, there's lots of pages for it already, and the art is fantastic.

Listen, I understand that it is hard to find good WG content. I actively look for it all the time, so I would DEFINITELY know.
BUT, that is not an excuse to essentially dogpile one specific artist because of the way they make their own art.
If you find a pit of liquid and it turns out to not be drinkable, sure. Understandable that you get upset. But when you KNOW that a specific pit produces stuff undrinkable to you, why do you keep coming back to it? Go find something actually drinkable instead. Who knows, you might find one that DOESN'T give you a hate boner more than it gives you ACTUAL boners.

@Luxe4Hearts well he's definitely setting a new record for 'build up' this time - 73 pages, no sex, no fondling, a tiny amount of weight gain on one character. Is it 'built up' enough yet? Can he commence the unsatisfying 5 pages of payoff?

Here's the thing: I like plot, too. Really. But I don't appreciate directionless meandering. There are already like 10 loose ends in this comic, plus DOZENS of pages of needless filler that any other artist could have slickly condensed into a few panels (or just eliminated outright).

The fact of the matter is, there's a difference between world building and sloppy, directionless sight seeing. Good authors are as much concerned with a tight narrative as they are a grand tour - yes, there's always more to see, but the audience shouldn't be shown anything unless it's necessary. The trick is to find a good balance between an arc and a showcase of visual wonder. Unfortunately, that happy medium has not been struck here.

But, of course, that's assuming that Kip is doing this accidentally... that it's being done in error; in good faith. It's not. The purpose of this stretched-out yarn is SINGULARLY to farm pathetic fanboys on Patreon. More pages = more dough. And that's why this is so God-awful. Because Kip doesn't give a shit about this either. He's preying on desperate people with page after page of empty, low-effort content, knowing full well that a little army of acolytes will defend any steaming turd he squeezes out. Yes, I am not paying for this. But other people are, and he's using them.

Real artists share a gift - if they make money doing it, grand. But most of us starve. Our work is more important than money. Kipteitei has his priorities inverted.

I'm just of the view that this is cute and fetish oriented, but this isn't freaking porn. Almost 90 pages and the closest to seeing anything was the low riding pants in the recent cafeteria scene.

I enjoyed kip's earlier stuff, and didn't realize this was theirs at first. Was amused at a few moments (the project topic choice was amusing), but its kind of underwhelming and a chore to read through.

I'm not sure why there's the fanatical defense for a long drag out work like this. You could read the first 20 pages and jump to either helping Aika or the first scene Tessa is hitting on her/the project, and then music video and not miss much.

H works don't go more than 25-40 pages max without something going on. About half or more reads like filler. If they're going for a slice of life/romance comic, great. The Tessa music video stuff was nice, but idk. If it's a manga that's intended on going 40, 50 even 100 chapters, great.

But its heavily implied its more than just a fetishized romance work based on people's comments defending it, for most of a year now. Its nice and all, but kind of a let down/underwhelming work.

Side note about the comments. Why do gringos have to always to stick an oar out to defend other groups (yet tell us how to refer to ourselves, "muh latin-x" lmao)? Nobody asked you to speak for them silly internet activist. Go clean up a park or the needles all over your streets and do something useful. So desperate to posture even using anonymous internet accounts on a porn site, lul.

Enjoy what you like or don't. I'd hope this improves and will check back every few months maybe? idk.

@Goji I really have no idea why paypigs do this, its almost more like a chemical reaction than a conscious choice on their part. Kip has made it abundantly clear that he thinks nothing of his supporters and would likely spit in their faces if given the chance. Maybe its because misslillygant is also a tranny and thus the hivemind defense conditioning kicks in? Broken down, it's as simple as this: I wouldn't give a damn about Kip being a douche if the work wasn't lousy/artificially extended. The original Breakfast With Sister was <30 pages, and was pretty much all stuffing/softcore incest. The art was rough, but the content was undeniably strong. Ever since then, the page counts have gone up, and the action has gone down. And now, as @Goji said, I'm not even sure if this qualifies as fetish porn anymore. It's become bad, fake western Manga with a slight kink.

Do I have problems with Kip the person? Yes. Would I really care if this was still as good as BWS? Probably not. Because, like I said, this is a porn site, and I am here to fap. But I can't fap to this.

First thing from this author I've seen, dunno who they are. No idea about the drama, not even into stuffing - I kinda thought there's gonna be vore.

All I know is I've kept on reading and suddenly found myself 50 pages in and caring about the characters. Having no priors, I think it's great. Would make an awesome VN too. Maybe not graphic, but very hot if you let yourself sink in and project properly. Or just... close this and open a more explicit gallery if you don't like this one.

Well, here we are...160 pages in.

- Very little actual weight gain.
- No sex.
- Tons of talking.
- Even more unnecessary angst.
- A wooden, predictable plot telling a largely pointless story that's focused on bad people being soulless.

He used to at least have the decency to end these series, but this one has turned into the comic equivalent of a daytime soap.

By the way, I know everyone involved in this comic is a lipstick lesbian, but is it really believable that NONE of these characters enjoys being penetrated? Not one? Really?

It is extremely rare (and by that, I mean I can literally only count one instance of it actually being the case) where the person uploading the comic is the same as the one who initially drew it.
Thus, I'm pretty darn certain that this one is also indepently uploaded as well.

Could it be that this isn't actually supposed to BE anything explicit at all?
Like, it's supposed to be just a softcore belly kink comic with perhaps, a touch of angstiness and fluff for those who enjoy that type of thing?
And the only reason it's "disappointing" is because somebody is uploading it, under the pretense that it's GOING to be something explicit because the artist has made such work before?

I think the main issue with this one, in particular, is that it's such a fucking cocktease in addition to having tons of filler. Like, there on 180 - tits. But does anyone fuck? Does Tessa get penetrated? Does anyone even kiss? No, of course not.

Beyond all the cynical ploys for dough, I think Kip truly believes that he is telling a story that is both compelling AND erotic. By contrast, I see this entire thing as a dark pit with occasional sparkles of diamond embedded in the walls. Are those little nuggets worth spelunking through the obnoxious remainder? YMMV.

@GWZ-KTS. Kip is in an echo chamber at Patreon; I don't even think he reads/responds to comments on Deviantart (there's a growing faction of followers there who are equally as fed up).

In a nutshell: people are paying for this garbage, so it will remain garbage. Kip is hardly a troll. If anything, he's religiously earnest, and becomes completely enraged at the slightest criticism. I know because I have seen it - he used to ban anyone who even questioned his art over on DA.

So, no, he REALLY believes this is magnificent, and the simps who pay for it REALLY believe this is satisfying fap material.
