I actually liked the "moe moe kyun" scene in the game a lot. It's just that, that it's really difficult to translate and I feel like you lose something of the original charm with blushy crushy ¯＼⁠⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠／¯

@r3r3r3r3 Your scans are mostly fine. Correcting the contrast (i.e. getting the clean black and white areas) is the cleaner's job. The pale yellow tone is normal for unedited scans from what I've come across so far (haven't done any manga scanning myself yet). I've seen magazine scans that require a lot more work, e.g. cheap paper, seeing the backside of a page in the white areas or having a lot of dust in the image. I am truly thankful for your work and wouldn't call it a shit pile.

The one thing you could do to improve the scans, is debinding. This would solve the issue with the warping on the sides. For the next time, you could consider ordering an extra "sacrificial" copy if you plan on scanning them. It shouldn't add to much to shipping and proxy costs. But it's really your decision whether you would want to do something like that, or not. Nobody is paying us after all xD
