Well it ended in a "good" note I guess? Honestly I'm not sure it looks like the guy got messed up by what he witnessed or at least that's how I see it.
He knows he has no proof or in fact he didn't see anything happening, the girl is back like if nothing happened and oblivious to him she's no longer cheating BUT now he doubts her and that's good enough to fuck up his head. I can't properly call it a good end when the guy is now going to be wondering all the time if his gf is just fucking around or not.
