I think that at this point Alfie still has to realize that fucking for fun is not the only sex existent but that "making love with the person you love" exists too. She experienced that with Ozge but she was unable to correctly elaborate the thing... after all what kind of relantionships she saw during her short life? Her parents had no love at all for each other: no joy, only regrets and spite. Her best friend was an adulterous slut. Marco is not a bad person but is very carefree. Lydia would fuck anyone breathing and with a pair of boobs. I think that she has never seen before a faithful relationship between two people truly loving each other; prolly she read about in some of her books, but the real world never proved to her that something like that truly exists.

Alfie is getting mad at someone in the literal same position as her but worse. Alfie chose to throw stuff at the adulterer in town, meaning she is far worse than Hana. Hana became how she was after being used and abused and adopted her new persona in the new life she was pushed into in response to her trauma. Alfie is just a shitty coward that gets swept up in her desire to not be outed. Hana got wooed by a nonhuman that seems to have turned out to be a decent guy and made love to him. Alfie is just a pervert that's completely ashamed of herself, and can't stop dragging her clit over everything that moves, then lying about it.

Hana may be a hypocrite, but she's been forced into the role. Alfie wasn't forced into her hypocrisy, she caved because she wanted the approval of a lot of people she didn't even like more than her friends. Alfie is the shittiest person in this story by a country mile.

@Bruce21 I feel like Alfie was forced, as well, just in a more subtle way. Hana's trauma was a sudden one, but Alfie sustained trauma over a long period of time, in the form of her parents' bickering and of being a free spirit in a town full of prudes. Most people in her position would get caught up in the culture, and it's simply not her fault. Now that she's becoming more self-aware, if she continues her behavior, THEN you can call her a shitty person, but at this point in time, she's only just starting to wake up and see the consequences to people beyond herself.
