The author might, and that's why they went with the format. But most people don't look at stuff on their phones. If you live like deep in an inner-city or something you might, but normal people don't.

Much as I despise phoneshit, the fact is vertical scrolling has always made more sense than horizontal. that's why webcomics have been vertical since long before the modern age. As it is, the vast majority of pages here on the pand are portrait, so... the only real problem is it's harder to see things from the thumbnails. There needs to be an alternate thumbnail display for these longer images.
