This seems really interesting. The art is decent, the plot is actually engaging (especially the whole diversity of body types that can exist in a world with multiple sapient species concept), and it's sexy. This is right up my alley and I plan on seeing it through even if the other comments suggest that updates may be infrequent. Favorited.

A good pornstar on a well-managed set will know how to act, have (a) camera(s) to focus on and look good for, and has a director that will manage and direct scenes. There's a certain degree of safety for the stars themselves (people are watching and making sure the filming goes well, they (generally) don't want to see anything bad happen to you).

Prostitutes... don't have all those things. You're not acting for a camera, and instead focused on satisfying a customer. There's less management, less oversight, less people to make sure you're safe during the whole interaction.

Both might get paid, but they hardly compare.

Among other unpleasant things.

Brothel Maid = Prostitute who is an employee of an organization that can include medical benefits, on site security/bouncers/bodyguards/mercenary's depending on the country you are in, guaranteed pay, client screening, typically a drug free work environment, able to call for police if clients do bad things to you or your coworkers, can/can not depending on contract arrangements with brothel be a independent porn star, can call friends, family associates freely and know where you are and where you are working.
Slang names including but not limited to : Mistress of the night, Call girls, etc

Porn star = Independent entrepreneur or member of an established company that caters to market demand, security and pay may vary but is typically commensurate with the level of fame and wealth you as an actor/actress can afford or the studio you work for can afford, though typically you will be working with people who are trying to be professional to some degree and not necessarily need to be overly worried about the issues prostitutes deal with if you chose even a half rate back ally porn studio to work with as long as they have a legal presence [paying taxes] you should be fine.
Slang names including but not limited to : Adult actor/actress, Adult Entertainer, etc
