Both are written as moe + ru (ru is the verb conjugation). In fact, they actually both mean "to burn", one literal and the other has a connotation of burning with "Passion" (Not precisely passion, but there isn't a word for "This elicits such a strong emotion in me that it's like I'm on fire")
