My first time attempt at typesetting a doujinshi so hopefully this wasn't too bad. I just noticed a typo on my username which is LunwticSeibah instead on LunaticSeibah fml. Whelp this is my life now
thanks for the hard work! some advice: do a thorough proofread of your own typeset before uploading. it helps to filter out some obvious typos along the way. reading page 4 and 5 alone you can quickly spot a few typos. also the top and bottom alignment is uneven in many places. and the line spacing should be tighter. not so bad overall, but fixes are needed. nothing too serious though. keep going!
Well, I can see that you tried to make it look decent and that is already something, considering that there were several people in the last year who didn't. You should probably read a typesetting guide or two before typesetting again like this: https://viid.me/9Mecy
A few things I have noticed where you can improve: 1. Fontsize; a.) don't change the size of your font constantly especially pages 4 and 5 where terrible but it got better on later pages. Try to find a working size on a text heavy page and stick to it for all other pages unless either the bubble gets to small or the artist goes from regular to bigger. In that case you should go bigger too. b.) reducing the fontsize 2-4 steps would have helped to fit the text better in the bubbles and where to break lines.
2. Differentiate between regular speech, thought and narration. If you don't use italic otherwise you should use it for tought. It's a simple and easy to apply method to differentiate between speech and thought. Or use a different font.
3. Use a different font for moans like SF Grunge sans for example. You can download it for free at dafont.com and you can also browse through the huge amount of handwritten fonts and see if you find something you like. (Just make sure it has all the characters you need)
4. Line spacing: In GIMP there is an option to adjust the line spacing in the dialog for the text tool settings, and that should also be the case in Photoshop.
Don't let this discourage you. All the problems pointed out can all be fixed with a bit of effort and learning. And even all the god level editors started at beginner level.
