@OP I mean, if you can get an incredibly strong, tough, healthy body with unbelievable level of regeneration and total full-body rejuvenation once a month for a meager price of killing and mutilating several dozen humans each full moon... You know what - forget about the unbreakable arian uber-body with eternal perfect health for a moment. Can we increase number of humans needed to be horribly mutilated until they cease from unbearable agony and despair? 'Dozens' seems to be such a needlessly small amount...

I'm not even sure we're at "Killing and mutilating" tbh. This artist tends to show lycanthropes as being way more interested in fucking other people (into more werewolves) than actually killing people. Lycanthropy seems to involve getting a physically flawless, regenerating body with the tradeoff of once a month having a big, furry sex orgy with other werewolves.
Remind me why this is supposed to be a bad thing again?

I'm guessing this story is a healer gets biten by a werewolf. so she gets a hermit house to search for a cure, someone shows up to her house on death door, she gives them the werewolf treatment to regenerate them. and likely use them as a guinea pig for a cure.
she also apparently drinks a potion to grow a dick and has sex with her while she is in beast form, but thats.... relatively minor here.
I think she was just going for normal healing but ran out of time before her change happened.
That said, werewolves have been on the "commonly redeemed" monster list for quite some time along with things like vampires and dragons. Even the kinds with control issues during the full moon are as likely to simply take action to avoid people during those times, (be that through self-imprisonment or through isolation).
