It's not just the fact that goth loli traps are a rare treat. Seeing this doujin pop up translated after it drifted to the back of my mind so long ago is lovely. Seeing older content getting translated always makes me happy. The art style and the length (the length!) all point to this being a real labor of love by the author. Knowing what the afterword says would shed some more light on the subject but I take it he must really like Kei. Who doesn't? But picking Moyashimon of all things to draw about in 2014, some 7 years after the anime finished airing and on the year the serialization ended, points to a decision that's less based on simple fancy and profit, and more on genuine enjoyment of the original work and characters.

Sure I guess you won't make a living off doujinshi but if you want to maximize your earnings it's a given that sticking with the flavor of the month will get you more weight on your wallet. Even more money is lost if you make a bigger book than usual, so coming out with an 82 page pencil drawn Moyashimon doujin is a considerable undertaking.

I'm as much of a perv as anyone else on e-hentai and this book ticks a ton of my checkboxes (very much a fan of knowing Kei got herself clean, not much of a fan of actually seeing it though), but aside from being really hot, I can't help but respect the author. This is more than porn, it's art.

Suffice to say, 2021 is off to a great start.

All the expressions this artist draws convey so much emotion. Even though this is drawn (very nicely) with pencil in anime style, the sex looks incredibly intimate and realistic. 10/10 I'm going to read it again right now.
