Wait...THAT'S how it works? It's literally Monster Girls from another world (idk) syncing both their form and senses to the app. Then that transforms a girl. I will give this credit. One of the reasons I hate the App cliche is because it just randomly appears as a mcguffin for whatever(usually lazy hypnosis that could be done either way), here there actually is a reason for both the app dooing what it does and it existing. Where as most of the time, it's a pointless catalyst for the plot, here it is the main reason for the plot and opens the door for story later. I like it...I mean..um...fap fap fap.
