Yeah, kinda makes it even worse in a sense. Instead of just longing after her and never getting together with the female love interest, the MC actually comes really close to getting the girl of his dreams, only to have it all come crashing down and ending up TRIPLE cucked - once by the baldy who kept banging her all throughout the MC's stint at cram school, second time by the rapists who caused the group to break up, and finally by the new dude who just alpha'd his way into the love interest's pants and banged her raw literally hours after they met. I'm almost dreading the third part at this point.

It's implied that the guy at the beginning of vol. 1 is the new dude (Kazuki) because he's the only one who calls her Riho-chan. The other guys call her Iida. That page looks to be a time skip to the end of the story, so probably the next volume.

Not up to date with the author's works myself, but this definitely felt like two stories crammed into one volume with a very weird transition in the middle (the sudden festival rape part). I mean, the two male MC's are totally absent in the later part altogether and this random guy is just dropped into the story. At any rate, I'm really curious to see how it all concludes, for better or worse.

They barely do have standards, so I don't see that happening. Chino and Riho slept with two average-looking acquaintances, and an attractive stranger. But they were against having sex with those thugs who were neither trustworthy nor attractive. You need at least one of those two qualities.

Based on Chino's dejected face in the beginning of the first volume, we're more likely to see Riho pair up with Kazuki. Meanwhile, Takashi is out of the picture due to resuming baseball, and we have no idea what's going to happen to Kousei and Chino.

I seriously hope not, but I fear the guy who actually tried to defend the girls from getting raped, even though he had no way of winning, is going to end up with the worst possible ending.
