weight gain isn't my thing. the characterisation and expression is pretty decent, though, and the tina/sydney plot is nice. i think sandy is too over the top and would've been much better as just sorta blunt and dense.

Welp, it's over. And while I want to say I'm let down, my expectations were so low after about the roughly the 100th page of pure bullshit, that I was left kind of chuckling knowingly to myself at the complete lack of a payoff. To put it in perspective, this was a TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR PAGE fetish comic with about 10 pages of very tame sex. That's... not good.

I'd suggest that Kip should be embarrassed, but I'm pretty convinced that he's a shameless, pandering, Patreon-driven clown bereft of a soul. The story was bad, the eroticism was bad, the characters were - at best - hollow, and at their worst completely nonsensical, and the art, while decent, was certainly not the best thing we've ever seen by a long shot. The icing on the cake was when people started falling on the guy with attacking comments in the last few pages and he whipped out the ban-hammer on Deviantart and removed all the critics. That, right there, is damned telling.

I sincerely hope that his pending "break" from creativity is permanent.

Discussing the comic itself? I found most of the Main Characters [MCs] unlikable bitches. The only one who's not a shitty person is Sarah and that's probably only because she had the least exposure of the main four.
The other likable character was [past tense] Sandy, back before she was very quickly turned into a "villain" by making her main motivation being romantically interested in Gothdyke solely to cause friction with the MCs. Some background on that: Sandy was more popular than the rest of the characters at some point, probably due to her initially just being a random cute weirdo side character and the bitchier MCs didn't like her. It was predicted that she would be turned into a poorly written "villain" via character derailment by several people as a hack writer reaction to this popularity when she started becoming more of a regular. For those unfamiliar with this shit in storytelling: Shit creators will do this to make their preferred characters look better by comparison, usually a protagonist that's having their thunder stolen by a side character. This is why Shydney has her little "protagonist talks about morals" nonsense at the end. This is lost on most readers because few take life lessons from a character who early established herself of wanting to be a golddigger.
Despite Sandy having super powers at random which doesn't fit the "it's like real life but the characters have wings growing out of their heads" shit, she's easily defeated in the end by two hired generic fuckos with guns. The story essentially boils down to a clique of bitches bullying a mentally broken girl who lives in poverty to jail, who had to recruit corrupt wealthy business fucks with their own mercenaries in order to do it.
Who are we supposed to be rooting for here?

Stay tuned for an aftermath of Gothdyke and the self-insert lesbianing that's only happening because even the fools shoveling money to this on Patreon complained about it.
Just remember: The real treasure were the blue balls you had while you were reading this slowburning dumpsterfire.
