Tried doing some sfx for the first time. i'm still learning to clean better...

While it is true the cleaning could use some major improvements the overall TL wasn't bad by beginner standards. It's certainly above the norm we get on the site so I will give credit where it is due. Perhaps you should look into getting a cleaner if you don't feel confident in your skills and a QC to ensure that any cleaning work is done properly. Otherwise, well done and I do applaud you on this one.

If you're still learning to clean, maybe you should start with something that doesn't require a lot of complicated redrawings.
First step would have been leveling here. Getting rid of this washed out black sometimes does wonders for images from that source.
And instead of painting out the transperent bubbles with a smooth brush a lot of cloning would have been the appropriate choice aka. know as redrawing.

In case you don't want to redraw SFX but you want to translate them, you shouldn't place your translation on top of them. Place it smaller very close to the original SFX. I see this a lot in official realese and it looks better than your choice.
And for fonts for SFX check blambot.com they have good ones in their free section or visit sites like dafont.com for free foonts.
