This is interesting stuff- yeah he may be a lolicon/smell fetishist and love to destroy happy endings... But the fans don't care. I know there was some flak from stupid SJWs when they first got ahold of the MiA manga prints and saw riko and co nude.. but hope that never reaches him.
What do we actually know about this artist/author though? People can assume whatever they want based on the content the author makes, but that doesn't make their assumptions true. Usually it turns out that the people who are actually harming others IRL are the ones that we least suspect, not that ones people assume are bad people based on the fictional content that they make. An example of someone that makes "offensive" content is ShindoL, who turned out to be a friendly and chill dude in a video interview, he even said his mother has reads his works.
People can make and enjoy making slasher movies while also being nice and not wishing harm on anyone IRL. This whole thing also reminds of people assuming the author of Shield Hero is a misogynist, it's all absurd and the internet likes to weave ridiculous narratives that fit their narrative. People seem to love their mob mentality and don't realize it does more harm than good. Also isn't there some saying along the lines of, assumptions make an ass out of you and me?
