I always have a thought about these comics where they essentially mind break a hero, but then what happens when there's a world ending threat? Like, Scarecrow is about to drop fear toxin across North America? Or a wizard is about to turn off the sun?

What the fuck are you gonna do when the moon starts falling to earth? When Super Baphomet starts eating Russia? When there's a literal living planet that's coming to eat the sun or some shit?! You guys are weird. There's always 10 billion different superheroes that can deal with any kind of threat if they felt like it. Especially in DC where every superhero is basically a god that is only playing around with the villain until they get bored and end it. You could take out half of the superheroes and there's still be an overabundance of superheroes to deal with any kind of threat.

arcesp you are making the classic mistake of assuming Earth's superhero per capita number is higher than everyone else's.

If we mindfuck half our superheroes and other places don't, we will have what JFK called a Superhero Gap.

No, ladies and gentlemen, I believe we only have one solution here. We're going to need a Mind Fuck Rotation.

Now, for certain parts of the year we put one hero on a the Mind Fuck Rotation that has comparable heroes available to fill in. For example, we have Spider-Man to cover for Spider-Woman and vice versa.

This way, any threats come in we have a back up to deal with it.

Now, how do we Un-Fuck to the Mind? We will have a team of medical experts on stand by in case anything goes wrong. We have the technology to make it so Superman can punch reality, we can Un-Fuck the mind.

We will also require a legal limit to how far the mind can get fucked. For example, if you make Power Girl a drooling wreck, that can take a while to fix. To that end, we will initiate a tax. The higher up you mind fuck past the legal limit, the greater you're taxed. And let me tell you, Darkseid wouldn't dare cross the IRS.
