Personally, I enjoy the drama rather than the fap material of NTR. But, because of that, I tend to be very picky with the plot. Good or bad end, if the plot doesn't sit well, it kinda falls flat to me.

This also presents a dilemma.

A lot of what we call, "Hentai Logic" is actually the cultural differences between western and Japanese ideologies. We see a lot of things in these stories and go "LOL, Hentai Logic at it's best!", not really trying to comprehend how these situations are looked at different in the author's native country (Something I'm just as guilty of as anyone else). Because of that, what someone who's privy to the culture would see as a forgone conclusion, just looks ridiculous to someone outside of it.

Then, you have to factor time constraints. Some stories literally have to be fired out in a week to meet deadlines that publishers have set for them (Particularly oneshots). So rather than taking the plot in a different direction or adding more character development, an author falls back on more tried and true methods. Then again, some authors are just more gifted story tellers and can bang out a competent plot regardless of deadlines (Carn).

That being said, I'm already on the outs with this one. It's one thing when the MH tries to help their husband without them knowing about it (I sit back and wait as the plot thickens), but to just hand your wife over to your boss to cover YOUR OWN mistakes? How am I suppose to feel for this person at that point? He literally DESERVES every ounce of pain heading towards him. Even IF his boss deceived him somehow, he still WILLINGLY gave his wife away. This is KIND OF a cultural trope, but it's been emulated in other cultures (Including western ones) as well.
