Well, I'm not super impressed with the script on this one. I'm not harshing on it, but I'm not feeling as immersed with this one as I am with the Star Vs comic.

Okay, okay, I'm starting to get into it now. The immersion is starting to come into affect. Mostly because I cannot read dialog written for Gideon without hearing Thurop Van Orman's voice in my head. EVER.
I'm not sure where this is going to go, though, and I have to give Area a money bin size heap of credit for actually getting me to actually how this story is going to progress in story and into hentai.

Are the Mystery Shack events just an image of the future, or are they actually happening?

TECHNICALLY, they are almost the same age as Star.
Area's Star comic is set around the time of the second season, I believe. At that time Star is about 14.
This comic takes place after Gravity Falls second season, and seeing as how Mabel and Dipper were 13 at the end of Season 2, and this would be their return to Gravity Falls the next summer, that would put them about a month shy of 14 right now. That really only puts them a few months apart from Star and Marco in the other comic.
When it really comes down to it, the only real difference is the art styles between the shows.
Area exquisitely mimics the style and design from the shows, and the fact that Mabel and Dipper look so much younger, due to their design, puts up a red flag in peoples minds.
He could have aged them up a tad, to avoid the characters looking too young, but that would probably have messed with the look of the characters too much and ruined the visual immersion.
I'm sure that when the actual nudity comes into play, they will be less loli and shota looking, as the characters were never shown in such a manner and the artist will have to take creative control in that regard.
Also, I didn't know Patreon had such a rule, but I suppose it does make sense. I just hope that they never get around to shutting him down.

I can already see how this is going to end: Dipper, Pacifica, and Wendy will have an orgy then go back to their own time. Once there, they will proceed to talk about how great the sex felt and start having an orgy in the present time. After their second orgy, they will keep going back and forth between the future and the present. Each time they go to the future, they discover their future selves getting more and more into kinkier stuff then going back to the present to try it out in their younger bodies. This creates a cycle where they beome kinkier and kinkier while they're young which in turn leads to them being kinkier and kinkier when they're older. Blendin Blandin eventually shows up looking for the cause of some time anomalies in this current timeline (apparently, their copulation has a big affect on future events. Maybe it has something to do with Bill coming back :p). He tells them about it, hijinx ensue, and eventually they consent to going back to before this time travel stuff happened and content themselves with consensual hand holding between all three of them. At least until they can really have at it. The epilogue of this story will consist of them grown up and having one last (from our point of view, "first" from theirs) orgy.

Bah. Rereading the comic I realized a big flaw in my theory; it only works once.
