[EDITED]: @dudex... Yes, they did. The short-summary? The SG-1 team managed to expose the Ori as the false gods they were, to their worshippers and even the Ori-empowered "Priors". As a result, the Ori were stripped of their god-like (but ill-gotten) powers, which were dependent upon their worshippers' fanatical belief in the Ori's absolute divinity.

The conclusion was in the movie "Stargate: The Ark of Truth". You'd want to watch that one first, followed by Continuum for the chronological order.
