Actually yeah this is the vanilla. Its the first part of some messed up pitch black dark comedy. The sequel is the flipside rocky shit road flavor disguised as chocolate. Personally I think this the artist's attempt at mocking NTR hentai.

Furthermore, I have no idea where anyone got the idea that "her eyes were gouged out, her teeth broken, and acid thrown in her face." There's nothing there to make that assumption. I mean literally nothing there. The artist simply, and likely intentionally, omits any panels/pages between the last image and the "gory" ending; if that even qualifies as gore.

If you look at the cover, read the text ("you must enjoy your ice cream before it melt"), you can put two and two together-- her face melted like ice cream. No acid involved. There's still considerable debate why her face melted though; that part is somewhat unclear.
