For anyone confused about the ending, the last three pages are basically the bullied girl forgiving her bully, and the bully saying it all still hurts, but at least she has her. The bullied girl says she accepts the apologies of her bully, and they hug.

Last page is basically her thinking "Forgiving you? Fat chance. This isn't enough payback. You're staying a man forever you bastard"
