Like some of Falchion's other works (Momotaro, Kaguya Hime, Urashima Taro), it's based on a Japanese folk tale called "Hanasaka Jiisan".

I'm only summarizing what Wikipedia has but the main story should be similar enough to somewhat understand Falchion's parody.

Jealous neighbor stole the dog but the dog didn't find gold for them so he killed it and buried it.

Dog told old man in his dream to chop down the tree and make a mortar from it.

Mortar turns rice into gold.

Jealous neighbor stole the mortar but it turned rice to stinky berries so he killed it and burned it.

Dog told old man in his dream to take the mortar's ashes and sprinkle it on cherry blossum trees.

Ashes made the trees bloom.

The Daimyo saw that then praised and rewarded the old man.

Jealous neighbor tried to do the same but it got into the Daimyo's eyes and he got thrown into prison.

So blonde hair girl is dog. Long black hair woman in the dirt is gold. The 3 women on the trees are the cherry blossom trees blooming. Old man and jealous neighbor stabbed each other while fucking the cherry blossoms. And I'm guessing the cherry blossoms wilted/disappeared since he did something evil? Then the old man fucked the dog then died splattering blood after she came.
