Trans people in pornography are tired of being labeled. "Shemale" is a really old word invented by pornographers and has largely been used in porn that does not realistically depict our lives and bodies. For vrtually all trans women that is not anywhere near the first term they would choose to describe themselves. Infact I know zero. In fact, most find it extreemly derogatory. On one hand part of that is that psychologists have spewed a lot of bullshit about trans people sexuality, and so it can be dangerous for a trans person to associate themselves with the term shemale. Furthermore it shouldn't only be trans people who are exposed to accurate representations of trans people in porn. Manny transfeminine people don't identify as male at all, shemale or otherwise. Very few find the term sexy.So it's a hard call what to label this kind of work. Most importantly though it should be the artists call.

It seems to me that the point of this comic is represent a realistic trans body (that is an estrogen patch, though that is not a particularly common way to take estrogen) and a trans characters feelings about her body. There are of course many many different trans bodies and probably even more diversity of feeling that trans people have about their bodies. This comic represents sentiments that a lot of trans people have that are almost never (like I could count the comics I have seen on one hand: Stella from Elsewhere, maybe a little in SexWorld, actually all of those are very different feelings and bodies though) represented in rendered porn. In fact that the artist used the tag Yuri is the only reason I have to use female pronouns here.
